* Renewed scholarships to three 2012 recipients attending the University of Florida, Florida Institute of Technology and University of South Florida who are persuing degrees in Horticulture, molecular biology and studies related to improving plant yields and nutritive value, sustainability and research in plant-based treatments for disease.
*Adopted streamlined bylaws which reflect a forward-looking Garden Club by the Sea.
*Welcomed our first Non-Resisdent Active members.
*Purchased tow garden benches for Lily Park, one in memory of late member Pat Russo.
*Participated in the EGAD in Bloom Flower and Garden Festival.
*Presented two programs for the South Brevard Garden Club Association.
*Featured in a Florida Today newspaper article, "Friendship in Bloom in Garden Clubs."
*Provided scholarships for local youth to attend the Florida Federation of Garden Club's Camp Wekiva in Apopka Florida.
*Collected funds to support the Global Partners Running Water Fund, Inc., a non-profit organization which works with the United nations to increase access to potable water in latin America.
*Provided Serene Harbor with monthly floral arrangements, personal hygiene items and other needs.
*Continued support for the Marine Resources Council.
