I hope everyone enjoyed a blessed and bountiful Thanksgiving with loved ones. It seems like we’ve hardly finished Thanksgiving left-overs at my house, when we’ve shifted gears in preparation for the Christmas holidays! Some will be lighting menorahs in celebration of Hanukkah, while many of us are decorating our homes & trimming our trees in anticipation of Christmas. We all prepare and celebrate the holidays in our own special way, many with family traditions. As long as we remember the reason for the season, others will feel our love and see the light, as it illuminates from us. Once again, I encourage everyone to be mindful of those less fortunate, as holidays are especially difficult for those in need and hurting. There are many opportunities throughout our community for giving to those in need at this time. Our annual holiday party and gift exchange is at Jeanne’s on the 9th. Please remember to bring your gift cards & coloring books for Serene Harbor. As we celebrate the season, let’s also celebrate our special bond of friendship we have in Garden Club by the Sea! I look forward to seeing everyone on the 9th!
