Coleus (Plectranthus)

April 20, 2018

Beautiful, long-lasting, and easy; I love them. As long as the soil stays evenly moist they flourish. Every year there are more cultivars, some for sun, others for shade or mixed conditions. I just discovered a beauty called Kiwi Fern. In looking for information about it I came across that website, which shows some of the beautiful cole

us developed by Penny Nguyen when she was a UF graduate student pursuing a PhD in Plant Breeding and Genetics. From left to right the three coleus above are Splish Splash, Royal Glissade, and Pineapple Splash. Photos IFAS/UFL.
