The 21st Redland International Orchid Festival takes place from
May 18th to 20th at the Fruit and Spice Park in Homestead. More than sixty vendors from around the world will be on hand with orchids for sale at one of the largest orchid shows in the U.S. featuring educational exhibits. An American Orchid Society judged event that showcases various types of orchids, plant and supplies for sale. Hear lectures, try your luck at one of the many raffles and taste an assortment of delectable treats from around the world.
The unique 37-acre public facility is owned and operated by the Miami-Dade County Park and Recreation Open Spaces. The Park’s tropical climate can be found nowhere else in the continental U.S. and hosts over 500 varieties of fruits, vegetables, spices, herbs, and nuts, and other commercially important plant specimens from around the world.
