3/4 Cups Butter
1 1/2 Cups Sugar 1 Egg 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract 1 Tablesppon Coffee extract
2 Cups all-purpose flour 2/3 Cups unsweetened cocoa 2 Teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup buttermilk 3/4 Cups dairy sour cream
Oven at 350, prepare two 9in rounds Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg, vanilla, and coffee. Mix flour, cocoa baking soda, salt well in a separate bowl. add the ingredients to the butter mixture in the following order
Flour Mix (about a third) 1/2 Cup Buttermilk 1/4 Cup Sour Cream Flour (the second third) 1/2 Cup Buttermilk 1/2 Cup Sour Cream Remaining Flour
Divide evenly into the prepared pans. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until a pick comes out clean. Let cool 10 minutes and tun out on a rack Let stand until it is not warm to the touch, prepare extra thick cream cheese frosting.
Extra Thick Cream Cheese Frosting 8 oz Cream Cheese 4 Tablespoons Butter 1 Tablespoon Vanilla 1 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
Then pipe the frosting between the two cakes and embellish in any way you wish.
Keep slightly chilled till served.
The ingredients of this cake make it rich and luxurious. It is very delicious but if your short on time you can use fudge brownie mix made with butter adding the extracts. then using a jar of of cream cheese frosting whip in a little extra cream cheese with Vanilla extract.
