What To Plant November

Annuals/Bedding plants: Create a display of fall colors with cool-season plants. Some examples include impatiens, pansy, viola, strawflower, cape daisy, alyssum, dianthus, snapdragon and pansy. See Annuals: http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/topic_annual_landscape_plants


Bulbs: Many bulbs like to get their start in cool weather. Bulbs to plant this month include amaryllis, crinum (there are many varieties), and the many varieties of elephant's ear. See Bulbs for Florida: http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/topic_bulbous_flowers
